Restoration of this historic farmhouse from Elizabethan period was made in 2004-2005. As the owner claims, renovating buildings of this age is never easy but the results are extremely rewarding. The building has become a modern living space suitable for 21st century.
Park Farm was suffering from a potentially lethal case of rot, due to timbers decaying and other things related to its age. Some of these defective timbers were removed, some replaced and some joints were also added and remade. The interiors has been updated to more contemporary wood materials. The kitchen were made of chestnut and beautiful handcrafted staircase and bathroom furniture were made of walnut. The house has become a very comfortable and beautiful place to live in.
